What do I receive after purchase?
All products on Embro Thread are digital embroidery design files. After completing your purchase, you will receive a download link to access your files instantly.
No physical item will be shipped to you.
Once downloaded, you can load the file into your embroidery machine and begin stitching right away. ✨
What file formats are included?
Our embroidery designs typically include several popular machine embroidery formats such as:
- PES
- DST
- EXP
- JEF
- VP3
- HUS
- XXX
Please check the product description to see the exact formats included with each design.
These formats are compatible with many embroidery machines including Brother, Babylock, Janome, Bernina, Husqvarna Viking, and more.
Do I need an embroidery machine to use these files?
Yes. These are machine embroidery designs, which means you will need an embroidery machine to stitch the design onto fabric.
A regular sewing machine cannot read embroidery files.
How do I download my files?
After your purchase is complete, you will receive a download link immediately on the order confirmation page or via email.
Simply download the ZIP file, extract it, and transfer the embroidery format you need to your embroidery machine using USB or your machine's preferred method.
Can I resize the embroidery design?
You can resize embroidery designs slightly (about 10–20%) using embroidery software.
However, large resizing may affect stitch quality. For best results, we recommend stitching the design at its original size.
Can I use these designs for commercial purposes?
Yes! You may use our embroidery designs to create physical products for personal use or small business sales, such as:
- embroidered clothing
- hats and accessories
- tote bags
- handmade gifts
- items sold in your shop
However, you may not resell, share, or redistribute the digital embroidery files themselves.
Can I share the files with friends or upload them online?
No. The embroidery files are for personal or business use only by the purchaser.
Please do not share, resell, distribute, or upload the digital files to websites, social media, or file-sharing platforms.

Do you offer refunds?
Because our products are instant digital downloads, we generally do not offer refunds once the files have been downloaded.
